In an increasingly competitive economy, students need to stand out from the crowd. Expert career guidance can help them do this.
Futurewise offers career guidance and planning programmes that support young people from age 15 to 23 through comprehensive, personalised and impartial services both in the UK and internationally.
The programme includes:
- Psychometric profiling
Futurewise programmes begin with psychometric profiling, designed to identify abilities, aptitudes, personality traits and interests. Students of all academic abilities are able to complete the profile. - Personal report
Following a profiling session, students receive a detailed report. The results are presented in a series of graphs, tables and easy-to-read reports. The report concludes by identifying a number of career paths based upon the students’ profile results and subsequent further research. - Interview
Futurewise members receive an interview with a career guidance professional to discuss their profile report and academic and vocational aspirations. During this interview, students have the opportunity to talk through the outcomes and identify their next steps, actions and research. - My Futurewise webspace
This provides students with an excellent opportunity to research universities, higher education and career options. The personalised students web pages have interactive tools including a CV and a personal statement builder. - Information, Advice and Guidance Helpline
Futurewise offers a professional information, advice and guidance helpline to students, schools and parents who have career enquiries. - Career guidance resources
Up-to-date resources such as regular e-newsletters and the Futurewise online magazine. - Career experience and skills development events
Futurewise members have priority access to Courses and Events to meet top employers and university tutors.
