Futurewise for students and parents
In an increasingly competitive world, career guidance, advice
and skills development have never been more critical for young
people, especially when they are trying to decide on their
subject choices and career path.
Futurewise New Generation offers a
personalised and comprehensive career guidance service that
supports young people from age15 to 23.
To date, over 110,000 students have enrolled in
Futurewise membership.
If your son/daughter is member of Futurewise via their
school:

If your son/daughters' school does not offer Futurewise,
you can purchase the programme as an individual.
Futurewise New Generation for individuals
The Futurewise New Generation programme ensures that your
child will get the right level of support and information at the
key transitional stages of his/her educational development. The
programme provides ongoing support for your
son/daughter from age 15 to 23 and offers:
- Online psychometric assessment
- Personalised profile report, provided electronically. (A final
report is also available for parents)
- An impartial guidance interview via phone or Skype in
Year 11/S4 to discuss the individual's assessment results, career
suggestions and develop a student action plan
- My Futurewise webspace - a personalised webspace for students
featuring their assessment results, a range of interactive tools
and resources to support continued research and decision making.
(Webspace is also available to parents)
- An information, advice and
guidance helpline (phone or email) to answer, in
English, careers and higher education related questions.
Educational research enquiries will focus on courses taught in
English.
- Up to three £25 discounts on courses
and events
- Subscription to the annual online Futurewise magazine and
e-newsletters
- An optional post-school interview
- Futurewise member discounts on driving lessons, travel and
books
Membership fees for individuals
The membership fee is a one off payment of £296.00 if
booked and paid for by 31 August 2013. After 31 August
2013, the price will be £350.00 (including VAT)
and your child can remain in membership until his/her 23rd birthday
benefiting from advice through school and much of higher
education.
